The Lowrance HDS-10 Gen2 – What came out new for Lowrance in 2012 was a big upgrade for the very popular HDS Series. The new generation HDS Gen2 features a Much Faster | High Definition System along with the introduction of StructureMap™.
This new tool allows anglers to view and create detailed underwater images of favorite fishing areas. Overlay StructureScan sonar images on top of traditional charts to provide a unique view into underwater structure and its location on the map. Use StructureMap in live mode or scan an area to create a detailed map for on or off the water viewing.

Incredible GPS position accuracy at even the highest speeds via this 5Hz high-sensitivity antenna module with true position updates five times every second.
SD Media Card Ports – Using one or both SD card slots on the HDS-10 Gen2 you can easily Display Insight HD, Navionics® and Fishing Hot Spots® digital charting. Record/save echosounder and GPS detail data as well as screen captures. Upload performance-enhancing software upgrades.
Out-of-the-Box Networking – HDS Gen2 features full plug-and-play connectivity with the versatility of dual platforms: high-speed Ethernet for display networking and performance module add-ons; and NMEA 2000® for onboard engine- and system-data sharing.
